EQUIPMENT/UNIFORM RETURN
Flag, Mitey Mite, Jr Pee Wee football and Flag and Mitey Mite Cheer
can return
their equipment this Tuesday October 24th, Wednesday October 25th or
Thursday October 26th between 5:30 and 7:30 PM at the Pottery Road fields.
Please make sure everything is returned clean. We do not want the mouthpiece
back.
Banquet tickets will be available ONLY at this time.
Anyone still playing or cheering there will be another date.
If you have any questions see your coach.
Weather Policy:
We normally practice when it rains. Canceling practice will be decided
at 5:30.
If there is thunder and lightning we must leave the fields and seek
shelter.
As we do not have sufficient shelter, everyone must go to their cars.
So please do not leave or come back if you think there may be a thunder
storm.
Please bring plenty of water to practice.
CONCESSION STAND:
Our concession stand is one of the best around. We have something for
everyone,
from hot dogs and hamburgers, chicken tenders, steak n cheese, to ice
cream, slusies,
soda, gator aid, and assorted candy. Some nights we have hot pizza.
Check it out, eat dinner,
support our concession stand. Help us out, and donate some time in the
concession stand.
It's easy, it's fun and it's a big help.
BANQUET:
As always, we will have two (2) banquets. One for the Flag and Mitey
Mites and the other
banquet for the Jr Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. midget and Midget, (AT TWO
DIFFERENT LOCATIONS )
Because our elected officials decided to terminate the lease for the
Empire Room (with no notice to us), we had to find other accommodations.
The Flag and Mitey Mite banquet will be Saturday November 19th From
11:30 to
approximately 2:00 at the Moose Lodge 1121 Milton Ave (one block from
Twin Trees Too).
The Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget, and Midget banquet will be Sunday
November 20th
from 4:00 to approximately 6:30 PM. This banquet will be held at Casa
Grande which is
located at 135 State Fair Blvd. Just off West Genesee Street(Near Harrison
Bakery)
Banquet Tickets:
Each cheerleader and football player will receive a free ticket to the
banquet providing
they have turned in all of their football equipment (including uniforms)
and cheerleading uniforms.
Tickets will be available only at equipment/uniform hand-ins.
All other tickets will be $12.00.
NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE THE DAY OF THE BANQUET.
Game Behavior
Please remember that at all games, home and away, we must always support
our
kids in a positive manner. This is very important. we have a ZERO Tolerance
Policy.
Negative cheering or comments towards anyone at a game will never be
tolerated.
There will be no warning and you will be asked to leave the property.
Please remember that
our cheerleaders and football players are very young and most ofthem
have their
younger brothers and sisters at the games. Please think first before
you make a comment.

DO NOT EVER DROP OFF ANYONE AT THE PARK ENTRANCE (NO EXEPTIONS)
It creates a safety issue. Please park within the lines as we have limited
parking.

VOLUNTEERS Always NEEDED
During practices and games it is important for your help.
At game we need play counters, chain crews and help in the concession
stand.
The entire program, including the property, is run by volunteers.
West Genesee Athletic Club owns and operates the sports complex.
With all of the participants, and the amount of paperwork
required by Pop Warner, all volunteers are important.
Please ask how you can help to make the
Pop Warner experience a great one for all of the kids.
WATCH YOUR CHILDREN
Please help us out and keep track of your children who are not participating.
We don't want anyone getting hurt or responsible for breaking anything.
