PRACTICES
Practices are Monday-Thursday in August for Mitey Mite up thru Jr Midget.
Practices for Flag are Tuesday-Thursday In August
Practice starts Wednesday August 1st for Mitey Mite thru Jr Midget for
Football and Cheerleading.
Flag practice starts Tuesday August 6th. Practice starts at 5:30.
GAMES
Flag football and Cheerleading practice starts Tuesday August 6th at
5:30.
We all practice at the Pottery Rd Football Fields.
The first games of the season start the weekend of September 1st 2012
The schedule should be out by Thursday August 30th
We have home and away games!
ALL GAMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Flag plays Saturdays at 10:00 AM
Mitey Mite plays Saturdays at 12:30 PM
Jr Pee Wee plays Saturdays at 3:00 PM
Pee Wee plays Sunday at 12:00 Noon
Jr Midget plays Sundays at 3:00 PM
PRACTICE ONCE SCHOOL STARTS
Starting the week of September 4th practices will be as follows:
Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday for--Mitey Mite, Jr Pee Wee, Pee wee
and Jr Midget
Tuesday and Thursday for Flag
PEP RALLY
This years Pep Rally will be held on Saturday September 21st at the
Pottery road football complex.
There will be rides games food and fun for all starting between 3:00-4:00,
followed by a fireworks display at 9:00PM
Tickets for a ride wristband are available at the field starting Monday
August 27 at the field.
Advance sale Tickets are $13.00 each (until Thursday September 6th)
$15.00 day of the event.
Weather Policy:
We normally practice when it rains. Canceling practice will be decided
at 5:30.
If there is thunder and lightning we must leave the fields and seek
shelter.
As we do not have sufficient shelter, everyone must go to their cars.
So please do not leave or come back if you think there may be a thunder
storm.
Please bring plenty of water to practice.
CONCESSION STAND:
Our concession stand is one of the best around. We have something for
everyone,
from hot dogs and hamburgers, chicken tenders, steak n cheese, to ice
cream, slusies,
soda, gator aid, and assorted candy. Some nights we have hot pizza.
Check it out, eat dinner,
support our concession stand. Help us out, and donate some time in the
concession stand.
It's easy, it's fun and it's a big help.
BANQUET:
As always, we will have two (2) banquets. One for the Flag and Mitey
Mites and the other
banquet for the Jr Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. midget and Midget
The Flag and Mitey Mite Banquet will be held Saturday November 2nd
from 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM at Pensabene's Casa Grande located at 135 State
fair Blvd.
The Jr Pee Wee, Pee Wee and Jr Midget Banquet will be held on
Saturday November 23rd from 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM also at Pensabene's Casa
Grande
Banquet Tickets:
Each cheerleader and football player will receive a free ticket to the
banquet providing
they have turned in all of their football equipment (including uniforms)
and cheerleading uniforms.
Tickets will be available only at equipment/uniform hand-ins.
NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE THE DAY OF THE BANQUET.
Game Behavior
Please remember that at all games, home and away, we must always support
our
kids in a positive manner. This is very important. we have a ZERO Tolerance
Policy.
Negative cheering or comments towards anyone at a game will never be
tolerated.
There will be no warning and you will be asked to leave the property.
Please remember that
our cheerleaders and football players are very young and most ofthem
have their
younger brothers and sisters at the games. Please think first before
you make a comment.

DO NOT EVER DROP OFF ANYONE AT THE PARK ENTRANCE (NO EXEPTIONS)
It creates a safety issue. Please park within the lines as we have limited
parking.

VOLUNTEERS Always NEEDED
During practices and games it is important for your help.
At game we need play counters, chain crews and help in the concession
stand.
The entire program, including the property, is run by volunteers.
West Genesee Athletic Club owns and operates the sports complex.
With all of the participants, and the amount of paperwork
required by Pop Warner, all volunteers are important.
Please ask how you can help to make the
Pop Warner experience a great one for all of the kids.
WATCH YOUR CHILDREN
Please help us out and keep track of your children who are not participating.
We don't want anyone getting hurt or responsible for breaking anything.
